Sometimes I’m in
A psychotic state
Otherwise, my mind
Is first rate
At times
I’m delusional
It’s due to
Man’s Fall
I have hallucinations
At times they are disturbing
They are both audible & visual
It’s trauma-inducing
I suffer from anxiety
In social settings, I don’t do well
I wish to hear
My mental illness death knell
I take many a psychotropic drug
A side effect of lethargy isn’t fun
In winter I have Seasonal Affective Disorder
I’m feeling down due to a lack of light from the sun
I must put on The Mind
Of Christ the Lord
I’ll battle my illness
With a spiritual sword
