Lost At Sea: A Metaphor for Salvation

I am swimming
In a black ocean
The tumultuous waves
Wash over me
I gasp for breath
Then Christ appears
Standing on the water
He beckons me
With His outstretched hand
I grab it
Instantly I am transported
To a warm sandy beach
I am alive

  1. This reminds me that with Jesus we are never alone! He saves us when we think that all is lost! Many times in my life I found that to be true!!
