Victory in Christ

Christ won us
Permanent victory
Over death and sin you see

Satan thought
He won
He misjudged the Son

On the cross
Christ bled
He suffered, the living Word

He gave up His spirit
After a six-hour ordeal
The rock of His tomb did seal

After three days
He resurrected in the tomb
Christ the Bridegroom

He sits in heaven
On a throne
He does reigne

Christ will
Return to earth
He gives men second birth
