A Panoply of Emotions

I was in a rage
I defeated the Satanic mage

I was feeling depressed
But I thank God I’m blessed

I was down in the dumps
Mental illness isn’t for chumps

I will belch and fart
As I shop in Walmart

I have a keen mind
There are many mysteries I find

I am sometimes quite angry
I will not marry

I fight demons every day
Them I shall slay

  1. This is an interesting poem because it is about the many emotions that you feel about having mental illness. You are sharing what it feels like to deal with it. I too have been overwhelmed at times but we both have faith in God that He will see us through the difficult times! It’s good to have faith!
