The Gospel in A Nutshell

At Calvary
On a wooden cross
Jesus would pay
An enormous cost

All men’s sin
He received
It was forgiven when
We first believed

This perfect Lamb
Died because of love
We are saved now
Being born from above

This new birth
When man is born again
Is the greatest miracle
It’s for even the insane

Jesus received
God’s full wrath
He endured it all
This was His path

On the third day – Sunday
After His propitiation
Jesus was resurrected
He defeated death and sin

We are saved
By God’s sovereign grace
It is for all the Elect
From every single race

No man can boast
Before salvation
We were Satan’s children
Now we have no damnation
